オーロラが強まってるようです。

昨日あたりからオーロラ活動が活発なようですね。
Dstという地磁気の活動度を示す指標があり、これがマイナスに大きく触れると地磁気が乱れているいわゆる「磁気嵐」という現象が起きているのですが、そのDstもマイナス60くらいまで下がってます。小〜中規模くらいの磁気嵐でしょうか。

NOAAのCurrent Aurora Oval（このブログの右上に貼ってある画像です）も発光が強まってるし、いいですね。北極圏では素敵なオーロラが夜空を彩ってるのではないでしょうか。

今後の予測ですが、
太陽の様子を見てると、ちょうど地球方向にコロナホールが来ています。

もう少し太陽が自転して右側にコロナホールが来ると、
高速太陽風が地球にあたり始めるので、地球周辺の磁場が乱れます。

そうするとオーロラの活動度も高くなるので、
これから数日は綺麗なオーロラが見れる可能性が高くなりそうですね。
